The Lean Technique system for maintaining a Lean and Healthy Life involves eliminating eating and exercise habits that don’t work and replacing them with eating and exercise habits that support and maintain your body’s natural lean weight and body tone.

BUILDING STRENGTH AND TONE
Isolating and strengthening major muscle groups with multiple repetitions with medium to light weights and resistance cords. Builds endurance and muscle tone.

CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH
A minimum of 20 minutes of “rigorous’ (depending upon your fitness level) cardiovascular exercise a minimum of 3 days a week.
Spinning, Fast Walking, Jogging, Eliptical Training, Swimming, to keep your heart strong and to keep you alive.


SIMPLE NUTRITION
Simple Nutrition consisting of fresh vegetables, a little fruit, lean protein, whole grains and water.

Limit caffeine and white sugar, fried foods and excessively fatty foods.
Find balance of caloric imput between 1200 and 2000 calories depending upon your height, bodyweight and fitness level.
LIMIT QUANTITY! Focus on quality - “ONLY EAT GOOD STUFF!”
STRETCHING FOR FLEXIBILITY AND NATURAL ALIGNMENT
Stretching at the end of a training session, and a minumum of 5 to 10 minutes everyday to improve flexibility, and enhance alignment.


NEGATIVE HABIT RECONSTUCTION In order to put all this into effect, one must develop exercise and eating habits which support health and well-being. If you have developed the negative habit of eating way too much late at night, it will be very difficult to lose weight. Usually there are one or two habitual patterns that prevent us from being in optimal shape. If we change these negative habitual patterns, living healthfully and in amazing shape becomes easy.
Ask yourself the question: "If there is one eating or exercise pattern that is keeping me from being in the best shape, what would it be?" Whatever negative habit you come up with first is usually the answer. Commit to changing this negative habit. Work on it on a daily basis. As the habit disappears, so will your excess weight.
